The Central Boiler Classics™ are engineered to be the most efficient outdoor wood furnaces available while providing the best durability, low maintenance features, and an appealing fit and finish. Our Classic models are manufactured using heavy gauge carbon steel and have proven their durability over many years of service. Many of our models are also available with a Dual Fuel Option.

Indiana is one of several states that regulate outdoor hydronic heaters. The state adopted 326 IAC 4-3 to establish emission limits for new outdoor hydronic heaters. In addition, fuel use restriction, stack height requirements, and a limited summertime operating ban has been adopted for existing units. Based on those regulations, only the CL 6048 and CL 7240 can be sold in Indiana; and only for non residential purposes.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) maintains a list of qualified models of outdoor hydronic heaters that meet the phase 2 emission standards proposed in the draft rulemaking.
